Audio emerges of Trump praising Gov. Tim Walz for handling of riots after George Floyd death

CBS News has obtained audio from 2020 of former President Donald Trump saying he fully agreed with how Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was handling the unrest in his state after George Floyd's murder. Trump and Republicans have hammered Walz over the riots since he became Kamala Harris' running mate, accusing him of inaction. CBS News campaign reporter Taurean Small has more.

- Cannabis legalization.
- Free college for lower-income families
- Stronger labor protections & wage theft laws.
- Paid leave/sick.
- 100% clean energy by 2030.
- Repro rights.
- Stronger LGTBQ+ protections.
- $1B for housing.
- Cut child poverty 1/3.

Vance is flip floppy, let's just start there with the position switching. However Walz and the claims of stolen valor and Harris running from the media is laughable. Now Walz the gun owning, came wearing, hunting, national guard deploying and 24yr member of the guard is liberal. He's their worst nightmare from the stance of running against him. He's for 2A rights, he hunts, hes from the midwest, he's pretty damn personable and easy to understand. He's taken the enthusiasm up a notch and their best attacks are stolen valor or extreme liberal, it's grasping for straws. Throw in Trumps praise for him and thats the next nail in the coffin for those two.
