The LFO has always been wonky going back to the 360, but that irregular timing and the resetting (built in delay, regardless of setting) is what gives the synth a more "organic" or human feeling element.

Such beautiful sounds! Waldorf's PPG software plugin VST doesn't even sound like it's from in the same universe as the "real deal" :)
