Watching my husband care for his 86 year old mother who has dementia. Sitting up with her all night to just put his hand on her shoulder and tell her "it's ok mom, I'm here" so that she would go back to sleep. Update to 5 years later,
our anniversary is in 10 days and I miss him so much I don't think I can go on living any longer without him anymore. He was one in a million, with honor, dignity, honesty, and loyalty.
He was as close to perfection as God ever makes on this earth.
He was my true soulmate, my lover, my comfort and support.
There is nothing left for me here now and I wish I had died the same day he did.

I have me one of those good ones and am grateful everyday to God for having him cross my path in life. As the song says, we go through some bads to get to the good. I would do it again to be with my husband. He is the true love of my life.
