The interior looks really nice, but in terms of functionality this is a huge step backwards. A touchscreen is useful for settings that you set up once and never change. Settings that are changed frequently must be on physical buttons.

Previous generation 5 series (and even current x5) comfort seats have a 2 piece construction allowing users to adjust the angle of support for the upper back. It seems that wonderful seat’s replacement in the new comfort doesn’t offer that. Can you please confirm that?

Honestly, I am not a huge fan of BMW exterior design language, but they are great driving machines. It's really just the E39 M5 and M6 Grand Coupe that I liked, in terms of design.
