How to make a warming, healing herbal Chinese tea for post cold weather exercise! Stay warm!
When it's cold, you've got damp-wind and damp-cold going into your lungs (and body!).
This creates imbalance first in the lungs and then, if continued and not kept in check, your whole body!!
OK, it was only 14C when it started, but it is cold for me! Cold for a person who loves heat and feels like anything below 20 is cold in Canada! LOL
As soon as I got home, I made myself this simple Chinese herbal healing tea to warm my body and rebalance my body (expelling the damp and cold, primarily with the cinnamon bark) and improving yang and Qi (ginger and red dates).
Use for 1 cup:
* 2 slices of fresh ginger
* 1 cinnamon bark
* 4 dried red dates (seedless)
Steep in boiling water for 5 minutes, cover, serve and enjoy!

Follow all of these now:
Here's how to make delicious, healthy, and family friendly Chinese teas and soups!
