Glinda didn't initially know that Morrible caused the cyclone. She figures it out later on. She tells her and the Wizard to just 'start a rumor. Make her think her sister's in danger." She never said to literally put Nessa in danger or to kill her. Morrible took it way too literally and too far.

Nessarose’s song in act two always breaks my heart. Every time she said “we deserve each other” in the movie I remembered the wicked witch of the bit and I’d cry.

Personally, I don’t like Nessarose. When she casts a spell on Boq with Elphaba’s spell book, in the broadway play, she yells at Elphaba that it was her fault for showing her the spell book. When Elphaba turns Boq into the tin man to save his life and he finds out he is tin, Nessarose screams to him that Elphaba did this as he ran as sort of a way to blame her sister. She is way too entitled.

The fact that Glinda gives Dorothy Nessa shoes has to be the most messed up thing you can do. Especially when Elphaba just lost her sister. 😭

In the book, Nessarose is born without arms and couldn’t balance herself when she walked. That is why she was given the special silver shoes.

Earlier kindness? Nessarose was the absolute WORST throughout the story, not standing up for Elphaba ONCE even though she was ostracised & bullied throughout the school - including by Glinda at the time whom Nessarose forbade Elphaba to speak ill of due to getting Boq from Glinda’s manipulation.
She’s even worse in part 2 but my point stands that she was never good or kind but selfish & self serving from start to finish.
