i agree, hope or aticipation is basically the worst strategy, i was doing it sometimes while i was getting started and basically in 80% of the cases it backfired. every time i was patient and really waited for a strong and real indicator of a trend, then the winning trades were like at 70% compared to the losing ones.
i guess the biggest risk factor in trading is you yourself. thats what needs to be kept in check at all times. not getting euphoric over wins, not getting panicked over losses. thats the hard part of trading for me. but also the part that reveals so much about you.

I really like your videos and how you keep it simple. I've traded options on the S & P and the QQQ for some time, futures is fairly new to me although I've messed around with a futures demo account in the past.
