A little over a year ago the first Intro to Code bundle ran with a collection of course aimed at teaching coding with a game development theme. Today they are running the Learn to Code bundle, with a mostly different set of course. Courses on Zenva are both text and video based and this bundle contains Unity, Phaser, JavaScript, Java, Kotlin and more courses.

Everything like that is most likely available for free on YouTube

I realized my problem is not so much the how but to sit down and do what is needed to attain my goal, because even with these starting courses there is always more to learn and more to do.

I did not like the bundle I got from zenva last time. I felt a lot of the information was basic and there was not much that I learned. What I mean to say is that there is much i learned about phaser and web game dev that I did not already know from various free videos. I don’t think it’s worth the purchase.

It’s a shame they didn’t include Godot courses. So I’m skipping this bundle.

I just want to mention, I bought unity courses a while back that became obsolete within a year since Unity changed a lot of its engine features.
If you want to keep up with Unity and its rate of changes, go for Youtube.
Unfortunately, for newbies, unless you are very good at programming and mastering, Unity changes so much that you will never be able to master its basics and move onto the more interesting stuff...

It says on Zenva site "Access all courses for only $9.99". I guess that's each and not actually all like they said?

Since they revised the bundle it should be "learn to code: edition"

"Java is kind of a niche" Ha... I wish...
It's the biggest language in terms of user-base - has been for decades.
Depending on how you measure, but I think Python was catching up to it, and perhapse now ever surpassed it (mostly due to the whole data-analytics and ML revolusion in recent years).
Java can only be considered small compared to other IF you frame your view of the entire software development world through the lense of game-development "exclussively".
