Am I the only one to think that these women are the most beautiful when they are dressed in their traditional clothing. They are stunning and proud women.

My great grandmother on my dads side was American Indian. My dad never really spoke of her when I was young. I never knew if he was ashamed or what of being part Indian, it never bothered me I’m proud of it.

All life in those times were hard. We must not forget the beauty of every culture along with these hard times. These wonderful pictures show us not only the beauty of these native women but their diversity in their tribes with their clothes. These ladies were very talented in using what they had around them to define their culture. I hope they pass their wonderful culture with more pictures and stories to their children. I want my children and grandchildren to know about these various tribes along their history and the beauty that surrounds them. We must never try to change history in not only in the best of times but also in the worst of their lives.

It is wonderful to see the beautiful Native American women of our past. It is a shame the Native American people live in such poor conditions where migrants quite everything they need for free. Where is the justice for our people.

As a black American I find these video powerful in the history of a people who were a part of the growing of a nation and I'm educated and can come to my own conclusions and my respect and interests is personal

I saw a lot of braids, which brought to mind recent incidents of certain individuals who hatefully and bigottedly ascribe braids being worn by any other racial demographic as 'appropriation'.
Here's the proof that braids were never appropriated from that other demographic and that those claims of appropriation are simply low class people unwittingly displaying their bigotry.
