Export from Plant 3D to Import and create Revit Family File

This video shows you how you can use the ‘BATCHEXPORTTOAUTOCAD” tool to export a Plant 3D model so that it can be used to create a Revit family file, this in turn can be used in Revit projects. It enables interoperability between Plant 3D and Revit.

After using Exporttoautocad do you explode the dwg from there? It still will not fully insert into Revit unless I explode some of the piping which is very tedious on a big model.

If the plant3d is a large file size does it come into revit at the same file size or smaller?
