Essence interviewed her when she came out FNF. She said she was a singer and grew up singing in church be she started smoking cigarettes and messed up her voice so she stopped then started rapping. I think she was also a little self conscious in the video. 1, she's singing with/next to Jennifer. 2, she her voice isn't what it use to be.
