Best character a whole series, always acting chill and calm, never lost his cool side front of someone. Actually compare to others characters Kaname's situation is worst than everyone. Acting like nothing happen doing his finest and confess his feeling like a man, Kaname always knew Chisaki's feeling but he won't give up. After 5 years Kaname still struggling doing his best for Chisaki's sake but at the end he lost everything.

Is it just me, or is Kaname the most depressing character in the series?
Like out of all of them, I feel he makes me the most sad. 
He's the extra guy, the cool and collected one. He doesn't make mistakes, nothing bad every happens to him and he's always seemly fine.

However, because of this, he is always left out. People don't really notice him, he's just there. A shadow. Something about that makes me really feel sad, good sort of sad, glad I have something to feel. Its sort of interesting because half the reason its so sad is because he is the least focused character in the series, he got almost no screen time. But it works, that's exactly what kind of character he is. The prefect shadow.

It's like .. At every guitar strum in the song, each of your heart strings are being pulled or strummed as well. Such a nostalgic, somewhat lonely but lovely song.~

i finished this anime yesterday...well today at 12am. and i couldnt help cry all the way through. this anime made me feel soo sad but so happy. i read the comments and its said this is Kaname's song and i can see that now. whenever he was around it would play. as corny and stupid as this sounds but his song literally pulls my heart strings. it makes me feel sad, happy, angry, annoyed.. this just makes me feel any sorts of emotions. seriously a work of art this anime by far on my top list. and Kaname is one of my favorite characters just annoyed he didnt get enough screen time. 💖

This songs gets me every time. When i hear it i remember all the sad parts and just relate to the characters.
That's what happens when you've got no one to love and you see the same story (not exactly) as you'r own, or at least wish for a story like that because you want to feel the same way, Loved.
