These are the essential grip, electric and lighting items that you should have on set for every video shoot. Many of these things are often overlooked cause they're not the most exciting things to talk about like new cameras, gimbals and lenses! But, these have all been tried and true pieces of professional film sets for decades. This list isn't meant to be all inclusive, so if I missed something comment below!

Great video, Chadwin. The Cardellini clamp is a great tool but I find myself reaching for the super clamp more lately. They're less common for some reason but they just seem so versatile. I also like the locking hex pin which prevents rotation of unbalanced loads.

I've been looking for c-stands and am stuck between two, Mathews and Savage. I am especially drawn to the stainless black versions. Savage seems a little more versatile but the cost and the 90 day only warranty I can't seem to get past. Bongo ties and cine foil an absolute must!!! Great practical meat and potatoes video.
