I don´t understand what the Ceiling -1 db means.
i need to filter out noises that have not much db. so in the audio when im not singing you won´t hear anything.

I always have issues with my synthesizers, some patches are fine others come in super hot signal wise. Should I put a limiter on my synth channels ?

So basically, the sound from your channels must be coming in hot in order for the limiter to work?

I will try it out just to export my raw mixes (only volume changes, etc).

Update: I tried it. It works well. But for some tracks that do not peak, the limiter like you said won’t matter. The sound will keep sounding low.

Do you think it’s a good idea to have it on all tracks? Because some (midi) tracks don’t redline.

As I said, I just use it to hear raw mixes to see, if I need to get rid of “x parts”.

How do you add the limiter if it's not already installed by default. I have Ableton Live 10.
