GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT VS. THE FRUIT OF HOLY SPIRIT

In this video, Joel Salvisberg and Jón Bjarnastein discuss the Fruit of the Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit and how it is so important that we, as disciples of Jesus Christ, have these both in our lives.

But unfortunately, too many people only have one without the other. Some people walk out of the Gifts of the Spirit without the Fruit. And some people walk out the Fruit of the Spirit without the Gifts of the Spirit. But in order to be effective as disciples of Jesus, we need to have both in our lives.

What is the Fruit of the Holy Spirit?
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such, there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV)

What are the Gifts of the Holy Spirit?
There are different kinds of gifts. But they are all given to believers by the same Spirit. There are different ways to serve. But they all come from the same Lord. There are different ways the Spirit works. But the same God is working in all these ways and in all people. The Holy Spirit is given to each of us in a special way. That is for the good of all. To some people the Spirit gives a message of wisdom. To others the same Spirit gives a message of knowledge. To others the same Spirit gives faith. To others that one Spirit gives gifts of healing. To others he gives the power to do miracles. To others he gives the ability to prophesy. To others he gives the ability to tell the spirits apart. To others he gives the ability to speak in different kinds of languages they had not known before. And to still others he gives the ability to explain what was said in those languages. All the gifts are produced by one and the same Spirit. He gives gifts to each person, just as he decides.

There was a time in my life at age 14 after hearing about the unforgivable sin, I foolishly believed the lie of the pharisees when they said that Jesus has a demonic spirit and I feel like it's too late for me. I don't have godly sorrow and I tried to come to Christ several times but I damaged my life forever at age 14. 8 years later, I want to follow Jesus Christ but I don't feel anything. I don't have genuine saving faith or repentance. I wish that I had something else to put my mind on at such a young age. What should I do now?

Walk the walk Jesus called us to, and preach the gospel. GOD does the works where it concerns the gifts of the Spirit. Our part is to pray, live as God calls us to, minister in the area He calls us to, and HE will operate the gifts, which are for thr work if the ministry and building up the body to maturity.

And about leadership Jesus demonstrates it with cleaning the feet of the disciples, lifting up from under. If bad fruits one can not be a leader. Jesus says the true shepherd gives his life for his friends. The one easy-going, becomming leader when crowling over the fence is a wolf in sheep clothes. When a true shepherd calls, the sheeps come running towards him, not out of fear, but because they knows his voice and know they'll be protected. When Torben arrived The States sheeps were comming towards him from everywhere, because they knew his voice allready from YT. A true shepherd gives food and leads to the water etc. Today we are many spread sheeps, but Jesus said he's gonna take care of each one of us while being in the field. And then we don't fear evil do-ers because we know WHERE home is🌌

You don’t need to “focus on” the gifts. God operstes the gifts in and through us. Be FAITHFUL to what He has called you to, grow in your faith and knowledge of the Lord and His ways and He will do the rest.

I have had God use me in the gifts in my almost 40 years as a believer, and every time it was to minister to the body or when He manifested His presence to witness to the gospel as I shared woth someone about Him.

I find it very odd for people to clsim you need to “focus on” the gifts. GOD gives and operates the gifts as HE wills, and He does it as we MINISTER the gospel and to build up the body. A “focus” on the gifts is not what God calls us to, but ministering in the capacity He calls us to minister
