Hi Shweta,

Thank you for reaffirming the coolness of the PM role. As a PM with 6 years of work-ex, I agree with everything you’ve said but I’d like to differ on one point.

1. 3:50 and 12:04 (Client Facing Part and Travelling): This is probably true when you’re an entry level/mid-career PM at a larger company like Walmart, Google, Amazon etc.. As a PM in a smaller B2B company, I cannot tell you how important it is to have regular customer interactions and client visits. A PM actually has the advantage of travelling extensively owing to customer visits and customer interviews to und how our customers are perceiving and using our Product. I can und why you said this owing to your network/friends working in a bigger company at entry levels post an MBA from an institute like IIMA.

Hey, Shweta I just want to say thanks to you. Just because of you, I somehow cracked my interview at one of the startups. Honestly, I don't have much LPA, but it gives me confidence so, thankyou 😊😊

Thanks a lot! This video was very informative and helpful. Especially, since I am a non tech student, it is very difficult to navigate and look for guidance/right resources. Even, if you gather them we don't know if companies prefer such courses or work ex over them. Thank you for making such a wonderful video in this format where it cleared most of my doubts about the concerned topic.

✿ RESOURCES ✿
Hey guys, I made a mistake in the video - the book students use during placement prep for PM is "Decode & Conquer" and the book that was recommended by a batchmate for a non-tech aspirant is "Tech Simplified". Links to both are down below 👇
• Case Competitions - Microsoft, Flipkart, Sprinklr

Hey shweta, the information you share is really incredible, I must agree that it has widened my perspective on mba.
I understand that u make videos based on audience interests and stuff about iims being most exciting ones. But there are many students who end up joining tier 3 mba clgs and I'm one of them. I request you to make a video on how to get good placement being in 3 tier clg and what all skills and courses should we focus on and how to approach PM orconsultant roles outside of placements

HOPE ULL HELP . THANKS IN ADVANCE ❤
