Beautiful as usual 🥰. I finally feel like I’m getting past setbacks and not really knowing my hair…. after 6 years. I had it together the first four years of being natural and then I fell off trying to do what everyone else was doing to grow their hair instead of just doing what my hair needed 😐. I started with an inch of hair and then stayed at bra strap for about 6 years and it wasn’t because my hair had reached its full potential. I finally started doing what worked best for my hair… now I’m getting to mid back finally 😊.

Girl, I feel you with the fact that you see other curly hair influencers and you want to have hair like them. I always seen like influencers with loose curls, while mine are more tight curls. This really made me want to straighten my hair to have “looser curls” like others but that was literally like heat damage lol. But now I know to appreciate my own hair which took some time.
