Well yes gogeta does have the cooler moments and is pretty much the mascot of the budokai tenkaichi games but in this case vegito does have the upper hand in combat.
If we speak of a battle between both strongest apperances to date gogeta wins but an hypotetical current vegito vs gogeta battle would end up in vegito winning or a draw unfusing early is not a real factor since they did master ssb which at least in the manga was still a huge improvement over the original form which had a stamina and energy drain similar to the one of ssj3 so at least from my point of view the only way the warriors will unfuse is if they use too much power and considering that they are pretty much the same entity if one needs to use more power so will the other ending in either both unfusing at the same time or vegito outlasting gogeta.

Fusion dance doesnt require you lower your powerlevel it requires you to bet nearly even to start the dance so they are in sync they arent losing power the catch is if your use fusion with someone of vastly different powerlevel the results are weaker such as the power being nominal or additive rather than multiplicative like hurcule and goku

While I agree Vegito is the stronger fusion, Gogeta was implied to have a rival boost in the Broly Movie.

Also you’re assuming Goku and Vegeta aren’t equal base to base which is false in the Broly Movie.

You could just use the guides and say Vegito has stronger effects than Gogeta. Vegito was also called Incredible by Broly, not Gogeta wasn’t in Sparking Zero.

Vegito is stronger than gogeta, has better one liners, gogeta has won battles but vegito fought people far stronger than broly and janemba, buuhan and zamasu are pretty much immortal, zamasu is immortal, all gogeta has over him is drip

Way too many so called fans assume that power levels have to be lowered by default with the fusion dance. If the warriors are equal there is no need for that. Me personally, I think Gogeta and Vegito are equal in every sense.
