Update 03/08/2023: "The thumbnail says Lootria but the video says krystl,, what's up with that?" Rebranding. lol
Update 15/5/2023: i've added an alternate version which you can find in the google drive link. feel free to check it out!
And now i present you the copy pasted description from Newgrounds:
—————————————————————————
One day I decided I wanted to remix this song for whatever reason (I genuinely do not remember why), and this is the final result. I've spent countless hours just tweaking it slightly whenever I thought it was done "for real this time", so I decided to finally put my foot down and upload the actual final version (which is this one). It starts at the same time as the original, so if you want to use it for Geometry Dash in a level or as a drop-in replacement for the original, you can do that without much hassle. Hope you enjoy!
Fun facts:
- Despite it being 200bpm, i accidentally set project tempo to 100 and realised it too late, but it's not like it actually matters.
- This whole thing is 21 cents sharp. Why? I don't know, I felt like it made it sound more epic or something.
- MuseScore 4's new sound library is awesome, so I used that to get the more realistic sounding piano over a free VST like Keyzone. Keyzone isn't horrible but MuseScore's library is a bit more expressive with a bit more effort put into it.. or less effort if you're used to score-writing software, but I'm not.
- After I wrote the description originally, I checked the waveform of the song only to realise I had accidentally put a -2db node at the very end of the song on the master track. That's been fixed and I'm willing to say this is the only time I'm truly glad I wasn't too lazy to fix that.
- I listened to this again while writing that last fun fact. The urge to go back to tweak it is insane but I must not. Maybe if enough people notice that same thing I did, only then I'll go back and re-upload
