Great video Mark, I’ve just been given. Buttkicker Gamer2 by my friend Steve after his wife told him it had to go as she could feel it downstairs so your brief guide is a godsend.

Enjoy the videos, keep them coming! Couple of points regarding the Buttkicker, which I have by the way.

Firstly, when attaching the Buttkicker to the centre column of an office chair, do take into account that this column is actually a damper (shock absorber) and thus also dampens the vibrations produced by the Buttkicker and as this is their smallest model it can rather take the edge off the experience.

why don't they make this bluetooth like nearly all sound-bar woofers? that way you can put the amp and buttkicker on the chair itself and the only think you need to run over to the chair is power

I purchased the ButtKicker 3 weeks ago, love it, works great with X-Plane, DCS, MSFS X, but not good with MSFS 2020. My audio cuts in and out once the theme music starts, and doesn’t stop once you start a flight. I’ve only used Voicemeter since it was recommended by ButtKicker, have not tried other software, if anyone has please let me know. Great Item, a must have.

Good morning, I wonder if you can help. I bought the Buttkicker after watching your video I also purchased the Simshaker for Aviators software. I have purchased a second USB sound card, but am not sure if there is anything I have to do to move from the Y connector from the main sound card to the USB one. Will both sound outputs get the sim sound? I get some interference on the speakers with the Simshaker software running in the Y configuration. I would like to separate them into the two channels. TIA

Excellent video. Given that it was two years ago, can you advise on what software is suitable for Buttkicker 2 with MSFS. I purchased the Buttkicker 2 last week and wasn’t aware there was software to configure it. I use the Y connection with one to the speakers and one to the Buttkicker.

I'm using VR and dont see the headset listed on either the A1 orA2 dropdown. how do I share the audio between the buttkicker and my hp reverb headset.? thanks

In my humble opinion, none of the devices in the market today are meant for American Truck Simulator. There’s just not enough analog sound in that game to send signal to the shaker. The only option to improve this is to raise the volume to out of this world levels; some vibration will reach the seat that way, but at the cost of loosing your hearing in the process, or burning the amplifier. If someone can prove otherwise I’m here to listen and to learn, maybe I’m not using these things correctly, but I don’t think so.
