Not sure how this only has 250K views. This is the voice of God on earth. It’s the best version of the Requieum you’ll hear in the last 100 years.

Cruelty I'm losing my hearing and with chronic tinnitus with no reason. 5 years ago this was absolutely beautiful. I'm sure it still is.

There seem to be endless permutations of Mozart's Requiem on the Internet; however, this has been the best version by far. I was born with an extreme hearing sensitivity disorder, so I hear absolutely everything in music, but unfortunately I also hear everything, if you know what I mean, it also includes every sound the audience makes. There should have been no audience present while recording this exquisite performance, in my opinion, but how many people here the siren passing by outside during the first movement? Wooded chairs that squeak and rub against themselves and the floor are a definite "no no", not to mention the coughing and clearing of throats. Even people shifting in their seats are quite annoying to me. Yet, I've learned how to cope, doing most of my work at night, living in a rural community, and even making sure my bedroom and office are soundproofed ― I'm an Architect.

Requiem happens to be my most favorite classical work ever composed, where I've come to the discovery that everything depends on the age of the Conductor. Younger Conductor's will interpret the music with a technical ear, that all to often, have sharp edges around the brass and female soloist's and allow far less deep vibrato that's required. Seasoned Conductor's find the best venues to play in, and I do know that many, don't have a choice in the matter, they usually must play in their home concert hall's. However, with Requiem, ordinary people don't consider the Architecture itself as another instrument to be played. There's a very fine exquisitely crafted displacement in the acoustics that's required and even the best, most advanced, and technically measured concert hall's — Fall short.

Most of the time, people can't hear the difference, but not everyone understands that a piece of classical music was not created in a perfect sound studio with noise cancelling headphones. The Master's understood this basic concept and worked around this affected space and most of the time, they used it to their advantage and although this was never written down on sheet music, it's a matter of "common sense". An Master Architect is not only a conductor of materials', a scheduling keeper, nor even a planner — Master Architect's see everything in every perspective and in every condition possible. People like Mozart understood his role in the matter.

I know people will say to me, "But Mozart never completed his Requiem, it was finished by others" Yes, those people are correct; but, it was completed by other Master's who knew what those perfect condition were. Mozart's Requiem is meant to be played in an Architecture, just like, La Basilique de Sainte-Marie-Madeleine en Bourgogne, France.

Can't listen to other Requiem anymore. Heaven!

This soprano is absolutely perfect. Her taste for this specific work is so clean and prayerful unlike so many unhinged operatic methods which do not suit the dignity of this work.
The woodwinds and brass are beyond beautiful. Stunning. The opening makes one nearly choke. 😢
Overall I would say what really strikes me is how distinct all the voices of orchestra and choir are, as well as the complexity of dynamic.

I performed this myself so I can hear everything.

I agree with statements made by others here. The best version hands down I've ever heard....and Dorothee Mields voice is like an Angel calling down from heaven.

Le Requiem de Mozart est mon classique préféré de très loin. Cette interprétation est le meilleure de toutes celles que j'ai trouvées. Les solistes sont mozartiens. L'ensemble est merveilleux à l'écoute.
