Expend was produced by Prue Stevenson, a Melbourne based artist on the autism spectrum, on 31 March 2017, in the Writer's Block Cafe, Borchardt Library. Prue is a Taekwondo Black Belt, and performance art helps her expend the excess energy caused by autism. An exhibition of Prue's work was arranged by the Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre (OTARC) in partnership with the La Trobe Art Institute, to mark World Autism Day at La Trobe University on 2 April 2017.
