Yes, Kenya is super expensive. Prices are still going up ! It’s just crazy. As a Kenyan when I went to SA I found prices for foods n clothing to be cheaper

The salt part I can believe it. My bestie is Kenyan and this wonderful human just loves salt. I literally have to ask her if she has tasted the food to know if it requires that amount of salt. Her response is always " I don't need to taste it to know it needs more salt"🤣🤣🤣

Actually I am Ugandan, and I have been to kenya and taken videos and photos freely. I also know that there are many local people who do vlogging on the streets and malls, even many foreigners. Your experience is very unique, and maybe you were directly taking pictures with the security in the photo, so he didn’t like it. Kenya has so many tourists taking videos and photos all the time. Why isn’t everyone having the same complaint as you.
