Good vid! I really don't understand why some people need to hate on others for playing a game at a lower difficulty. Some people don't have the time to invest into something as much the next person.

What? You can't perfect all organization 13 data battles on critical mode level 1 with sweet memories? Dirty casual.

As someone who has beaten Critical Mode Level 1, it doesn't automatically make someone a bigger fan. More skilled, sure, but you're not a bigger fan. What I see as a big KH fan is someone who loves the series but embraces the flaws. They critique the games so they can only keep moving forward rather than being held back. It's kinda why I debate on why BBS and DDD were flawed games. The person isn't wrong for loving those games, not at all, but they should acknowledge the flaws those games have. The clunky platforming, combat, the lack of balancing, these are issues that can affect casuals, hardcores, and speed runners.

My major gripe is when the defensive casuals begin to insult the speed running community since people are more critical (teehee) of the series. As I said, a real fan acknowledges flaws, and they don't blindly accept. I love Re:coded and KH2 but they're still flawed, and I'm not terrible for saying why the games are flawed. This ties into blind acceptance, but skill level and blind acceptance doesn't make someone a bigger fan than someone else. Skilled players can care less about the story (not all, but some do), and blinded fans can care less about the game, as long as there's a story.

I love how its edited at 3:05-3:16. It's like Sora was having an awesome dream where he is beating Roxas' ass, only to wake up at his absolute weakest realizing that Roxas is going to beat HIS ass.

I couldn't care less if a person plays the game on beginner or critical. I do however feel a slight annoyment when a person whom hasn't played the game on Critical says it's just to press X and triangle to win.

When KH3 comes out, I'm gonna first play it on Standard. Have a nice playthrough! after that, I'll play it on critical for the challenge!

Limit my man, you do a phenomenal job at addressing points of contention within the community. I appreciate the sentiment you have and how cool you are with the community

Yeah. I love Kingdom Hearts but I only play on standard. But I'm DEFINITELY a fan! I have all the games, all the soundtracks, and a lot of posters, keyblades, keychains, art books, pins, I even got lanyards! All fans have different ways of expressing their fandom.

Personally I find it hilarious that other people somehow care about what difficulty you are playing in a single player game. Me personally when I first stated the series I played the games first on beginner (because I was a young scrub), then move on to higher difficulties like proud/critical. More recently though with 2.8 I started on proud for both DDD and 0.2 (even though I hadn't played either title before) because I was such a diehard fan of the series. Debating whether or not to play KH3 on standard or critical since that first play through makes the difference.

Personally, I have no issue with what difficulty someone plays the game on. It's their choice after all, let them enjoy the game they want to.

However, with that being said, I cannot stand it whenever someone claims KH2 to be "an easy button masher, " when they have never played on a difficulty other than standard mode. IMO, you cannot judge the true difficulty of a game unless you play it on the hardest difficulty.

My first time playing KH2 was Proud Mode. It really made me appreciate it's gameplay

I agree people can play whatever difficulty they want. Doesn't mean they don't love the game any less than anyone else. There was a time I never even wanted to play kh2 on proud mode, Now I only play on critical and I'm happy to say that I have beat the main story of kh2 lv.1 Some people just don't wanna play on that difficulty (especially lv.1) and that's ok. I'm just glad that I managed to get better at the game for myself, I wanna get better, and I know there's still tons I could learn.

"You have to be this good to play the game or you can't play"
People seriously say that? That made me laugh aloud like you don't control what I play, thank you very much.

I am revisiting the series to finish the other parts after beating KH1 and 2 years back. I love the series and look forward to challenging myself(with some frustration) on a higher difficulty. Great video!
