Lufthansa has always been known for its deep connection to the Boeing 747, famously dubbed the "Queen of the Skies." When other airlines started phasing out their 747s, Lufthansa held on, showcasing its unwavering loyalty to the jumbo jet. But now, even Lufthansa has decided to retire the 747-400 in favor of the Airbus A350. So, why is Lufthansa, a longtime 747 devotee, making this monumental shift?

I’m going to be flying the Lufthansa 747-8 from Frankfurt to Houston in 2024. R.I.P 747-400 😢

if im Corect, the a350 will replace the a340, the 747-400 will be replaced ny the 777x. The 777x will eben have the same registration as the older 747-400. im really happy i can see them every day as i live very close to frankfurt

Yeah, maybe Lufthansa better says "GOODBYE" to their BOEING 747 that getting older than before. But in the video of @FLIGAVIA, Lufthansa Says "NO" to Retire their BOEING 747 because still genius. But every airlines in the world are already retiring their BOEING 747 by them self just like Garuda Indonesia and Lion air, both Indonesian airlines retire their BOEING 747 for replacement because all of the BOEING 747 that they have are getting older than before.
