My husband and I also made our own coffee table. We lucked out and stopped in a woodsman/lumber shop on vacation in Illinois. They had amazing tree stump tables with hairpin legs for upwards of $350. That being out of our price range, we asked the owner if there was anything he could do. Turned out he sold hair pin legs, and there were prefinished, raw edge slabs of wood ready for legs. We cut a deal and walked out with a table tops and hairpin legs for $150. It took my hubby maybe 30 minutes to measure and drill in the legs and now we have a custom, mod, raw edge wood coffee table I know you could buy on etsy for over $500 :)

Hey I just wanted to say I love watching your diy videos! It's totes inspiration :) On that note I was searching the webs and finding dead ends everywhere. I know I'm not crazy because you can find what I want for sell but I really want to see if I can build it. So I thought I'd ask I may request pretty please maybe doing a diy wooden folding bar stool with back plans!!!! I figured if anyone could do it, you could. The table turned out awesome! Where did you get your sectional?! Looks so comfortable and stylish! I have an 11 month old baby so we need something like that and in that color. My current furniture is not baby proof 😫
