Kap says he wants to hear from upper management, and not just GM Rick Hahn. He wants to hear from Jerry Reinsdorf and Kenny Williams too, and wants to hear that they are embarrassed for what has happened. But, in reality, Kap knows this likely won’t happen.

Fascinating double-standard. The Bears were the worst team in football last year, losing their last 10 games in a row, and have a quarterback entering his third year who has yet to lead a successful 2-minute drive, but everyone's excited about their future. When Theo joined the Cubs, he and Jed intentionally fielded a non-competitive team in order to lose as many games as possible. Somehow that was OK. But the Sox struggle and then make a series of deadline trades to say goodbye to this year and try to build for the future, and this demands answers from top management?

Royals are only 8 games back of them now... anyone kinda cheering for them to get hot so Hahn and Williams might finally have to face the music like GarPax did a few years back? To get passed in the division by THAT Royals squad might be the only way for change to actually happen
