From epicentre of covid-19 in the first wave to a model city in the second, the journey for maximum city, Mumbai has been an eventful one. The 'Mumbai model' has been successful in reducing infection rates in a city that is highly susceptible due to a large population and crowded spaces. The credit for this 'Mumbai model' is being given to an efficient and dedicated bureaucrat, Iqbal Singh Chahal, the commissioner of the Mumbai municipal corporation who has devised methods to curb infections that even the Supreme court has lauded. On the India Development Debate tonight, Tamanna Inamdar deconstructs the Mumbai model and discusses whether it can be replicated across India with Dr. Shashank Joshi, Maharashtra Covid Task Force and Dr. Giridhar R Babu, Hd, Lifecourse Epidemiology, PHFI.

and BMC K-West Asst Commissioner Shri Vishvas Mote.

BMC and Shri Iqbal Singh Chahal ignoring complaint and allowing Totally Illegal, Unauthorised, Unsafe, Massively Encroached and Dangerous construction touching our building compound wall to continue in Juhu Gauthan (K-West).... work is going on in Full Swing post Demolition. Major fire hazard, and a Serious threat to neighbouring buildings and lives of residents.
They are now Encroaching into our building as well.

Requesting for immediate action and justice to our genuine complaints/Issues/concerns, and the violations are dealt with as per Law.
