I remember my mums 2001 daewoo lanos, absolute definition of base spec, manual windows, manual transmission, and no back doors. You had to put the seat down to get in the back seat, no aircon only heat, not even any power steering, and yet It ran like a dream, miss that thing

I had a 92 nissan trade 2.8 diesel. It wa a tank. On those vehicles radio and ac isn't important since they get used on a farm or construction site with the widows down. Super machines. I loved that truck. Sold it because i didn't needed it and it's still running.

Fun fact the radio is only there because of Japanese law requiring vehicles to have AM radio for emergency alerts. It wouldn’t be there otherwise.

Sounds great 👍! The only thing I would want to change immediately is a key lock for the passenger door. Then I'd find a way to install a locking differential. I installed a Lock Right in my 1993 2wd Toyota pickup and it was awesome. Absolutely the best modification I have ever done!

I had a Subaru sambar, and it was the most useful vehicle Ive ever owned. It's so small you can park it anywhere, it's incredible on gas, it can haul 600lbs to my certain knowledge, and it was an absolute chick MAGNET.

No, I am not kidding. These things are more truck than almost anybody actually needs.

Dang, this makes my 95 base Toyota pickup seem like a luxury vehicle. I've got an am/fm radio, and passenger side door lock, visor and air vents.
But, no power windows, power steering or tachometer. 😂
