Check out the Growatt MIN US Spec'd units with Tigo Communications. Looks like a duck, walks like a duck, way cheaper. This unit and the Tigo have 2:1 DC to AC ratio and without the battery backup part is still a sweet deal. 11.4kw is 80% continuous of 240v at 60 amps of a 200 Amp service. So about the most you can run without messing with too much wiring. Check out the ConnectDER solar meter adapter, an item I think really pairs well with this 11.4kw or smaller grid-tie inverter.

Newbie question, on a dc-coupled inverter like the Tigo Hybrid inverter, what would you want to monitor on the AC side? Are you thinking about monitoring grid exported AC? Of course, it would be nice to monitor AC usage in general - how much energy is fridge, ac, etc consuming at what time of day, etc. But that could be monitored independently of the solar/tigo, yes?
