I think you are doing it slightly differently than zoloev because your elbow is against your hip joint while going down. And He is doing it totally without Support. I am also doing this excercise and i find it slightly easier that way

Try to do it like Khadzi (lighter weight with almost full range of motion). That's really good for hypertrophy.
