I found James Gurney’s channel several years ago and I am so grateful to watch a master at work. He makes it look so easy, but not easy to replicate his skillful drawing!

This combination of techniques looks very natural to the viewers, which is why I don't like the term "mixed media", as it implies something very unorthodox.
