He touched on a great point. So many kids were doing horribly financially before the NIL was passed. So now Coach Prime is empowering his players by marketing himself, the school, and the kids. Telling them to let your play on the field do your talking and I'll handle the rest. It's amazing how college sports has changed and I love it. Black America supports Prime of course, but this is a true underdog story. Only 10 scholarship players and a host of HBCU kids who were legit told they weren't good enough to start for power 5 schools. I look forward to seeing the team and Coach Prime's evolution

It seemed like Colorado was turning into America's team and not Black America's team. I loved seeing the comradery amongst the diverse community. I know that African Americans are happy to see Coach Prime's early success because these types of opportunities aren't always available to African American coaches. Plus, to have the success that he is having so far is rare among African American Coaches. I see all races tuning in with support. White, black, It's just the first year. They will have ups and downs. I think the most impressive thing that I have observed is that it is not a race thing at all to me. Everyone is happy and joyful especially in Boulder, in the sports world, and across the country. With all of the division over the last 7 years in politics, it has been a delight to see everyone coming together. You have Tom Brady involved in this, Warren Sapp, Michael Ervin, and many many others black, showing support.
