Elixabeth Warren is worth over ten million dollars, and she certainly doesn't pay her share. Try asking her to publicize her tax returns. I think one of the biggest gripe is, it's rule for thee but not for me attitude. The govt want to pass all these laws and higher taxes, but always find a way to have themselves excluded. I think Elon Musk would be less concerned if that wasn;t the case.

I'm with Elon on this one. He's using his profile to stand up to a bully. She's the one who is the real freeloader. She's not all that popular (I think she came third in the presidential primary in her own state) and she's cynically trying to drum up anger in her base by spreading crappy information and her vitriol.

Im glad he pushed back. I wish all people pushed back. It takes one willing to stand up hopefully outhers follow. Taxes are not the problem. Its the wasteful use of the taxes.

I'm just as concerned about heavy taxation on the wealthy as I am about a sitting senator harassing a private citizen with character smearing. Doesn't she have a constituency to serve and look after instead of persecuting someone she doesn't like?

I'm glad that Elon musk is as forward and honest as he is. I suspect there are a large number of people of means who are pretty upset with being baited by politicians so that those politicians can get votes. He might be the only one that actually pushes back and I think that's an honorable thing very honorable indeed.

Musk knows what he's doing. He's just being himself. His businesses changes life the way Apple does. For the good of the environment ( Tesla batteries), saving on budget (SpaceX cuts costs), and so on.

We my wife and I are big fans of Elon. No we don't own a Tesla, but deeply appreciate all he has done for this country. He doesn't have to stay here and put up with Warren types. I think he should let Andrew help him GO WHERE HE IS TREATED BETTER. They should be kissing his ass and be thankful we have him, he can relocate his business anywhere he wants to and cut his taxes.

Imo the biggest problem with taxes for corporations and citizens is the mismanagement of taxes. With so much taxes being collected and still the government can't manage it correctly then it's not the high taxes that are the problem but the management of it. No amount of money is enough for a manager that mismanages his finances, that goes the same for the government. Let's first start with that before we blame both sides and how much tax both sides should pay. I'm for paying taxes, i'm against paying taxes that is mismanaged. There is never enough money for taxes that is mismanaged.
