March 8th Apple Event Official (New Macs, iPhone SE, iPad Air Incoming)

Apple today announced that it will be holding its first event of 2022 on Tuesday, March 8 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California.

As with the 2021 events, Apple's first event of 2022 will continue to be a digital-only gathering with no members of the media invited to attend in person due to the ongoing public health crisis.

I hope the "redesigned MacBook Air" becomes just the new MacBook. There's no reason to keep the Air moniker for the laptops any longer; the product line is getting too wide as it is. For that matter, the iPad lineup could use some cutting as well.

Well I think the new iPhone SE of third generation will be very different. I think it will be as an iphone 13 mini but it will not have Face ID, only a frontal camera that will be a circle without the notch. The Touch ID will be improved and moved to the side of the phone or, even better, an under-screen Touch ID.

If anyone is considering getting a Mac Mini, max out the RAM. The original M1 version is great but can’t handle having multiple apps open with only 8GB. I end up having to restart at least once a day because kernel_task freaks out and there’s no way to reset the SMC (Apple silicon doesn’t have a controller). The RAM is not user upgradeable. So max it out or you’ll be sorry.

iPhone SE3 will be the XR design with Touch ID in the side button (like on iPad Air) an the SE2 will be 100 less

why does the mac mini render show an ethernet port if it's going to support the new iMac magsafe connector. the Ethernet port will be in the power brick, not on the back of the mini ...

Beware of iPhone SE, I got one last year and it's laggy and it feels like it's running at 30Hz :( factory reset and doesn't help.
