Thank you! I have been dorking around with this for awhile and couldn't figure out why the examples I had tried to follow were not working. I didn't realize until after watching yours that the event subscription contextualizes what info gets passed along. Following your example I finally have a working proof of concept. Thank you again!

Scott Mate I tried these exact same steps for the built in workfow called "Add a Custom Attribute to a Virtual Machine" and it not only didnt work it just timed out. Im sureI've missed something here because VMware would not create an embedded-CRO workflow that does not work? the Inputs on this workflow have been defined as customAttributeName, vm and newValue. Do I need to actually plug those into the YAML blueprint for every single custom attribute I want to populate? have you tried this? i cant seem to get it to do anything
