I will always be in debt to the people that are honest in return the phones. I lost my phone one time in a snowstorm when I was taking my kids sledding and called it from another phone and this kind old man answered, told me where he was I went to pick it up, tried to give him money, but he was insulted that I would pay somebody for being nice. There’s some good people in this world.

This is exactly the story of my life 😄
Almost three times a week ( in AMSTERDAM ) I find lost mobile phones or wallets and make great efforts to return them to their owners.
I truly feel happy when I return lost items to their owners. I put myself in their shoes, imagining how terrible it must feel to lose all your credit cards, bank cards, and phone.

I lost my phone in college getting off the bus across town (fell out of my pocket into the snow). Some random person found it, called my dad, he called my roommate, and it turns out the person that found it lived in my complex. They brought it back to me and wouldn't accept any kind of payment or anything. Nice people exist!

I accidentally dropped my license once while getting a tow and showing the tow driver my license. Someone found it and mailed it to me anonymously with a nice little note about where it was found. Wish I could have thanked them. Good peoples out there.
