Just so you know. Defrosting and filtering Artemia is great. But by rinsing it you create reverse osmosis and the nutrients will leak into the clean water. It's even scientifically proven that you will lose 80% of nutrients within an hour if soaking in water. And even quicker if you use warm water just like cooking veggies takes out a lot of nutrients. The best thing to do with the Artemia is put the frozen block in a net and letting it defrost in the fridge overnight. That's how we started doing that at my workplace. For the article I believe it was in the Elasmobranch husbandry manual. Hope it helps create better quality frozen pre measured Artemia blocks 😊😊
