This trailer is about a book, not just some normal book, it's by the author of captain underpants, George and Herold, or Treehouse Comix Inc. And the movie for the book got successful so this would probably make this movie "Dog Man" successful. So let me tell you the story, so there was a police officer and a police dog. They were a team, they were awesome at catching criminals, until they got into a sticky situation. They got into a accident where all of the dogs torso and legs were broken, and the police officers head was injured. Then one of the nurses got a brilliant idea, she said "What if we put the dogs head and the officers body together"? It somehow worked and with that he was called Dog Man. Then an evil Cat came in, Peety, and wants to destroy Dog Man. Then an evil fish came in, then the cat cloned himself, but it turned his clone into a baby cat, then I forgot what happened in the other books. This took really long to do so please like I'm not begging you, but you can do it if you want to.

I love watching people who have barely or never heard of dog man before to watch this and be mildly confused, there are a lot of references to the original book series so it feels like this is more catered to the older fans(who are probably teenagers or older by now) while also being enjoyable for the new younger generation. Probably worth you time to look into the book series, at least to brush up on the lore
