Great to see Amiga getting some love Russ. As a UK subscriber who loves your videos, I grew up with this system and agree it’s a headache to emulate!

I’d love to hear how this runs on your Ayn Odin 2 / android. I’m right on the cusp of buying one, just holding out for RP5 and Odin Portal reviews so I can compare. I rarely if ever see Amiga content demo’s on these devices though.

Keep up the great work! You’re truly bringing this hobby to the masses and I love it! ❤

I had an Amiga 500 when I lived in Germany from 1990 to 1992 and the games that I remember that wasn't mentioned was Wings, Black Gold and Mega-lo-mania. I also used to play Warlords a lot but that game would not play well on rg351p small screen.

Thank you for the help in setting it up! Looking forward to dying many times on this thing with the games I love on my amiga 500. I always tell my kids that the old games were so much tougher because the story was shorter so they kept you coming back by killing you off a lot more compared to new games. And your review of Shaq Fu … that was hilarious 😂

Hey, @Retro Game Corps! I know you probably have a lot on your plate with making guides and videos right now, but is there any ETA on when you'll put out a guide on how to manually scrape boxart, meta data and video snaps for the RG351? I have rom hacks and homebrews in my game line-up, and the scraper understandably can't find anything for them. I hope I don't seem like I'm being impatient, but this guide is what I'm waiting on before I can finish my RG351 image. Your channel is awesome and so are you! Thank you for always helping me!

Using 351Elec mouse pointer constantly want's to go to the bottom of the screen and D pad is set to up (jump in a few games I tried) but I'd like to set it to left shoulder button but no idea how? RG351P.

I never had an Amiga but I have nostalgia for many of its games as many of its games were also available for MS-DOS. The games seem to run pretty much the same as on DOS and graphics look similar. Speedball was a pretty big game when I was young, as well as lemmings and cannon fodder. I even had California Games as one of the first games I played (on DOS) and that was also on the Amiga.

Project x was a graphical wonder when it came out

CD32 has the same sound chip as A500. It has a better graphics chip which can display 256 colours at once instead of 32 and the same 32 at half the brightness. It can also display this amount of colours in resolutions with more than 368 pixels across, where the A500 was limited to 16 colours at higher resolutions than 368 pixels across.
The CD32 also had a 68EC020 processor which ran at 14.18MHz in Europe instead of the 7.09MHz 68000 in the A500.
It was basically a consolised A1200, without the keyboard but with a CD-ROM drive.

Is it possible to remap keys on this device? I want to play Cannon Fodder but it seems to want to use a mouse type interface with the right stick controlling the mouse but this is too slow and awkward

Well, I've got games running and such. But I can't seem to get the settings right for a lot of these games. The sound often comes out warbly, unlike how I remember it from the Amiga days.

Cool Vid Russ, can you please do one for the N64. I usually use the 2 standalone that run on Arkos as they preform best, how ever I have being messing about with Retro Arch and running Vulan drivers, it's producing good results however the sound is always an issue, I don't know if you tried this and got any better results as I'm a newbie at this TIA?

There are some games which loads but not responsive, is there something to configure so the keys will work?

Amiga CD32. Is pretty much the same as an A1200... At the time when they sold them i did not see a good reason to buy one, owning an a1200.. But it was impressive for me that it could do video of Michael Jordan? in the store. CD computers where short time populair in the beginning because it had hugh data capacity compared to floppies which was common in those days.. pluses of the CD32 are; chunky to planer in hardware for faster 3D which will not help to much with only video/audio memory in the computer, many buttons on the joypad, software with alot more use of data, still alot of games where still small in data size, audio track music playing used in alot of games it bypasses the amiga audio chip and came directly from the CD it self, Audio CD music player.

Well, I finally after this guide got games working well Turrican 2 at least, I had seen you where using Bubble Bobble, but I was trying to work out how to press 1 key, I did get the on-screen keyboard to view and tried to press 1 but nothing, I might have been pressing the wrong button :( What theme is that your using?

I used to play Nuclear War, but this is one of the only games I cant get to work. It keeps saying a kickstart is missing in devs: dir. All other games seem to work fine. I followed all instructions above and have all 22 files in the bios dir. Anyone?
