Teen wonderkid from Norway! Just under 2 years ago I uploaded a video of this player when he was all over the headlines due to him playing top flight football at the age of 15. People seems to forget Ødegaard still has 5-6 years until he should be close to his potential, and even after that he can still play for 15 more years. He isn't supposed to be playing for a big club like Real Madrid or some other top club (from other top leagues) yet.

Real Madrid is doing the right thing by letting Ødegaard develop in his own pace with lots of support from his team.. Did other clubs show him the same support that they did? Did they bring their own private jet to Norway? Would he be mentioned by Cristiano Ronaldo in any other club? Probably not... Are their training facilities better? No, so please, ignore comments from people who think they know better than some of the world's best coaches and scouts who has a knowledge base people aren't aware of, apparently. You know that R. Madrid are spending billions of $$$ on player development; coaches, chiefs, scouts, facilities in general, young players lifestyle et cetera. Of course they can still fail with Ødegaard, but until now it's too early to say, and if you take a look at how many top players and who they have produced in the last 25 years, they certainly know what must be done in order to develop players correctly. Raúl, Casillas, Guti, Juanfran, Cambiasso, Saúl, Morata, Mata, Carvajal...

Maybe there are some younger guys reading this (age 9 to 15) and you better realise now that athletes are supposed to be at their best in their 20s. It requires hard work that needs to be perfected for years to succeed because competition is so huge. It's all about who wants it most, but more important, you have to enjoy it. Now, how old is this guy on the video again? Read some articles or books, ask your parents or uncles or your football coach, please learn how talent management in football works before you embarrass yourself even more on YT. This isn't FIFA Career mode...

Good player for him to thrive he needs to play closer to the goal. The reason he's got such low numbers in terms of assists and goals is because he starts all his attacks too deep and by the time he's reched the edge of the box he's used up alot of energy.He'd be more effective behind the strikers or even up top kind of like a false nine.He's an attacking midfielder but he started all of his dribbles/runs in the oppositions box which is too deep.

Should make a video on Martin Samuelsen, he had his first international match and goal for Norway last week. A big talent that plays in Blackburn now, on loan from West Ham. Already had some fun with PL players, even got Skrtel sent off.

He's not bad at all. He just chose the wrong club to play for. Teams like Madrid and Barcelona, it's hard to break into the starting 11. If James, Isco, and Turan can't even break into their team's starting 11 and can't be a regular starter then there's no way Odegaard would do it. But he's still young and has a lot of potential. He dribbles with ease and his awareness of where his opponents are is really. good. He just lacks the final pass he makes to his teammates in the attacking half. He's really good for his age but he needs to mature his game if he wants to play for the first team like how Pulisic does with Dortmund. Dortmund, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Ajax would've been a good fit for Odegaard because they give their young players chances to play and develop with the first team players. He'll get better in the future.

He has magic feet, but he keeps too much the ball sometimes.. But fuck, he's only 17 guys, give him time to grow ;)
