‘Common ground’: Trump speaks to Biden on the phone after assassination attempt

Republican strategist John Jordan discusses the importance of two political adversaries being able to speak and find “common ground”.

It is reported Donald Trump spoke to Joe Biden on the phone following the second assassination attempt on the former president.

“That’s good for any free society so I’m pleased that they did so and I have no doubt that both were behaving in a gentlemanly fashion,” Mr Jordan told Sky News Australia.
