Great video! By the way, my wife & I love guessing what your sign off comment is going to be at the end of each video, based on what you’ve been tasting. We did NOT guess See ya later Marmalader!
So far we’ve got none right, but it’s getting quite competitive! 😁😅😁😀😂

The is the first video I've seen from this channel. I'm very impressed with the quality and care taken in the review process, great work. Now, time to buy some marmalade!

Great review and undoubtedly the correct choice! I've tried a lot of marmalades and always come back to Frank Cooper's or Tiptree with malt whisky!

I prefer thick cut so use a locally produced marmalade.
Duerr's Thick Cut Seville Orange Marmalade 340g @ £1.50
If my prefered choice was ever out of stock though after your review I'd defo give the Frank Cooper's a try 👍

It's also Frank Coopers for me, especially the muscovado variety, which I don't think that they make anymore. Also, another claim to fame, it was served on the Titanic.

Slight 'warning' for those buying the Bonne Maman: they have two sorts, "Orange Marmalade" and "Bitter Orange". It's easy to mix them up. The one labeled "Orange Marmalade" (rather than the "Bitter Orange" labeled one in the clip) is a sweet marmalade. It's not *as* sweet as most American sweet marmalades, but it won't be bitter-forward like a classic, British style marmalade.

Are marmalade just jelly or does it have to be orange or any citrus fruit ?
And does to have orange pices in it?

I have seen and had homemade orange jelly. Well honestly most of the jelly I have eaten have been homemade.
And a large % from wild fruit blackberry, and fl. Wild grapes for the most.

I like orange. And we have a old southern cake a 13 layer jelly cake.
Really thin cakes really a cake batter, cake size pancake.
You soft the jelly and use it in place of icing.

A marmalade jelly cake sounds good.

Interesting video thanks. I’ve gifted a F&M Marmalade but never tried it myself. I’d like to buy a jar for myself now! 😅
