Great video. This will definitely help a lot. I tried getting back into Lateral raises a couple weeks ago and had popping in my shoulders. Rounded shoulders is one main thing that can cause cracking and popping in the shoulders during the exercise, which can cause the rotator cuffs to wear down and be injured. So, I have replaced Laterals and put Rear Deltoid Raises in my shoulder days routine temporarily. Just until I get my posture in good shape.

"Right now you guys are watching at the computer. Go ahead and get your posture up straight, go ahead and start rolling back..."

"I think they're doing it, Bob! I can see the millions of heads of heads going up tall!"

Damnit, you got me. Busted.

I remembered when I had rotator cuff issues a few years back. It was caused by muscle imbalances. My front side of my shoulders were stronger than my back side. I had to do y, t and i exercise in a pron position using 1 and 2 lb weights for resistance.

So the chest and lat play a part? When i try to roll my shoulder back my chest automatically "puff" up and my back get straighter as well.

Guess I am doing it right?

I have rounded shoulders which I believe are caused by doing too much benchpress. But I'm also an avid swimmer, so my back muscles are in very good shape. I've tried for a couple of months to constantly keep my posture straight and my shoulders rolled back. But they're still staying rolled forward. Are there any more impactful/more difficult exercises to do that might fix this? Thanks for the great video help!

Thank you.

I just don't seem to understand the difference between the second excersie the one Bob is doing alone with rubber band and the first y movement exercise with the help of door knob. Seem to be the same thing to me. Any difference in the muscles being worked on?
