Presenting, Useful Dog Tricks 3!! Whoever said tricks can't be useful?
Jesse's back, and this time he tackles chores that most humans wouldn't find enjoyable; complete with his award-winning smile. Jesse is the smartest and most talented Jack Russell ever! He also finds new ways to help out around the house; including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning up puddles, as well as being a well-rounded member of the community by helping clean up garbage at our local park.

My family had a clever affectionate jack russell terrier, she died at the old age of 20, and she looked a little like Jesse. She only had the brown patch over one eye though. I started crying when she brought you the towel in the shower. It’s so delightful to for once see a dog that has such immense fun and is proud doing the learnt tricks! She reminded me so much of my old dog lady. I still can’t stop crying, both from joy and incredible sadness. Thank you and thank you, Jesse.

I like to reward Jesse with treats, toys, play, and praise. Jesse loves to do his tricks and will gladly do them for the fun of doing the tricks too=o)

Thank you =o) Jesse is my first and only dog; he was the inspiration to start teaching tricks. We learned by instinct and trial and error. I teach and talk to him like I would a friend, and he picked up what I was trying to teach him very quickly. Reading positive reinforcement and relationship-based training books have also helped along the way :o)

Yes, Jesse knows agility. He loves doing agility; we are actually working on an agility video at the moment. =o)

Jesse actually does a trick better if we don't work on it too much. When we are learning something new, and take time off from working on it, then come back to the same trick in the future, Jesse's skills have improved since the last time we worked on that behavior. I tell Jesse I think he has been practicing his tricks when I'm not looking =o)

Jesse is taught using Positive Reinforcement and Relationship-based Training =o)
