These are some of the more famous haunts but i lived in a house in Mansfield Oh, that would make you crap yourself 7 nights a week, constant shadow people, stuff moving, ice cold air, rancid smells. I once seen a ghost so clearly that i could tell it was holding a knife while standing over me, that's the incident that made me move.

The Ohio State house in columbus was originally built from bricks made from clay and mud from an native burial ground that resided on the intersection of Mound Street and High Street in down town Columbus. (Hence the name Mound Street) The building of the state house, as mentioned, was shrouded with bad luck during it’s construction. Many believe there is a correlation between the chaotic construction of the building and the destruction/ demolition of the native mound. Mound Street is not far from State Street, where the state house currently resides, I’d say about 5 blocks distance as well.

Fun fact about the buxton inn. When repainting the buxton inn and stripping back layers of pain the exact same shade of blue they were repainting was found when stripping back the layers of paint. The little bell collar of the deceased cat is said to be heard in the halls late at night. As well of reports of a girl in a blue dress looking out the window

I’ve partied at Moonville tunnel many a time. We never saw any ghosts but I promise that steep gravel beside the tracks will put a scare into you !

I went to the Poasttown Elementary School and it's definitely haunted. I heard a woman humming in my right ear during an investigation that I took part of during Halloween.

You forgot dead mans curve in Amelia Ohio. Haunted by the faceless hitchhiker. I've lived in southern Ohio in Clermont county for years and it's considered one of the most haunted places in Ohio ever

I live in an old hospital turned into apartments. My bathroom door sometimes closes on its own. The first time this happened I opened the door again and said do that again and it closed again. I don't feel like I'm in any danger or anything. I think its kinda cool.

My wife is a nurse at an inpatient hospice facility in southeast Ohio. There are constant reports from staff and family members of shadow figures walking the hallways. She was a skeptic at first, but not anymore.

There is also the old town of Old Ceasars Creek which is now underwater including the cemetery. Nothing was moved and residents had to leave belongings behind

Ohio state reformatory is something else. I had an experience there. These are only a few of the hauntings. Just to name a few here is SW Ohio: Golden Lamb hotel, Caesar’s Creek Pioneer Village, US route 27 in butler county, Oxford-Milford Road, Miami University (Oxford and Hamilton campuses) has several haunted buildings, Poasttown Elementary School, and Loveland Castle. In northern Ohio Park hotel and the light house in Put N Bay, Mohican castle, and Franklin Castle.
