Was so worried they wouldn't work anymore. Great stuff. Oh and thanks to the guy who recommended putting your foot on the bar and turning the dials to 5 before pulling them out. Mine were not budging

Worked! My brand new set must have shifted in transit because one dumbbell was frozen solid with both dials stuck at 52 pounds. I didn't want to void a potential warranty claim or attempt the more invasive tutorials where you remove the central bolt and ball bearings. But since the Bowflex sales rep showed you can override the base locking feature with brute force, I figured it was safe. Got the dumbbell released and was able to drop the plates back in at the correct angle and everything works now.

This was exactly what I needed to fix my set. One note, the black button to release the plates is on the bottom of the handle.

lol.... so I have the 10-90 lb version of these.. they haven't been working for two years (although I got like 5-6 years of life out of them prior). Light bulb went off in my head finally and I consulted You Tube. They work again....
