She is mostly a rebel without a cause, although I have no sense of liking towards the current Central Government, but Didi is no better, she has her own issues as well. Although, she has kept Bengal decently well in retrospective comparison to the centre, but I can't see her ever becoming the PM of India. A fun fact though is that she became CM after protesting against the establishment of the TATA Motors plant in Nandigram, sadly post that incident, I haven't seen any major organization build anything in Bengal, and moreover you don't shoo away the TATAs, because they don't just build a Plant, they believe in nurturing a city, look at the likes of Jamshedpur, Kalinganagar. They are not just businessmen, they are an empire.

As a person myself from Vellore dist in TN, used have a word with the Bengalis....they used say as we don't have faith on communists we voted to Mamta..expecting a better medical facility in Bengal ..but the status is same..no improvement in any sectors ...it's a as good as communists party rule
No new factories, no new IT companies and medical facilities ...that's the reason we r coming to Vellore and Chennai for treatments

And her sit-in-protest became a curse to West Bengal... TATA set up plant in Gujarat and those acquired lands became useless as well. Till date those lands are not suitable for agriculture. If TATA could have established production plant people of West Bengal should have been benefited. Now rest is history.

You guys made a story in the time of corona without uttering a single thing about that when hiding the cases and dead due to corona is the biggest issue.I don't know from where you have gained knowledge about her works but she is nothing but a power hungry person who is also playing victim card simultaneously even right now. Her incompetent health system has made us looking at a misery in the time of corona so she hid the details of affected and dead by corona in her state and ultimately shrugged off everything by saying "I did not know about anything" although she is the health minister of the state. Tata motors ka project bandh nahi karwana chahiye tha. Thats the result WB as a state is soo poor and not at all devloped, no big industries want to setup in the land of WB, thus causing many bengali natives to move out from their home land in search of jobs.
