With seven bikes in the 250 class, here is a little refresher on what has changed, and what hasn't, for 2022. Also since there many bikes without any changes, we go back a few years to discuss what "generation" these bikes are on and when they last had a full, wheels-up redesign.

I love the RMZ 250 I still have the original 04 RMZ 250 and I love it I'm really sad that Suzuki has it came out with anything new I hope one of these years they come out with something spectacular and don't just bow out of motocross

Why does MXA really like the Husky’s and you guys don’t ? They said the 10mm lower platform was a good move and the air fork is now really good. I just don’t understand the discrepancy in the two shootouts.

I like the rmz 250 I'm buying a 2022 this weekend 5, 400 price he'll yea it always done good for me what these guys don't tell you in these shoot outs they are spitting a very hair it might not be the best bike but if your coming off a old bike onto a 2022 rm you will be so happy and it's a dirt bike who cares about electric start man up and ride that thing and it will put big smile on your face and do anything that you push it to do...

The thing with the RMZ is that it's way cheaper than any other dirtbike from the showroom floor. If u spend that difference on the suzuki it will be up to par or even better than the others

Just just want Kawasaki to change the metals they use for the threads for frame and bolts, am waiting for a change in 2023, the bikes fall apart still

Guarantee in 10 years the Suzuki will still be running, with only little maintenance over them years.

Don't take it too seriously : 1 Gas Gas 2 Yamaha 3 KTM 4 Husqvarna 5 Kawasaki 6 Honda 7 Suzuki. The only one I haven't tried is the Honda. And I appreciate the Suzuki so no bad bikes.

Is it just me, or do these two see each other as competitors, and or not too fond of one another?

They favor Yamaha so obviously they will pick it

With only electric start and no kick start, it’s a turn off.

Can't believe how many here defending Suzuki. I wish they'd go back to the days of where the 2T was in 04-07, but look at facts: heaviest, worst suspension, no e start and still heaviest, no upgrades or changes, weakest, and by far the least durable. Ask a track that rents bikes, they won't touch suzuki due to issues....Honda and Yamaha always best maintenance wise. I went back to 2T though and Ktm's are great too.
