My father just passed away last Tuesday (Sept. 15, 2020) I didn't see him for almost two years and his keep on telling us that he wants to go home on Christmas day but... 💔It's so painful. I discovered this song about two days ago and I spend the whole evening lying in my bed crying the day I discovered it because it made me realize how special and important fathers really are. The next day I went to my dad and hugged him. I even kissed him on the cheek goodnight! I rarely do it now a days unlike when I was younger because I've grown more independent but this song just reminded me of the time I was eight when I sat in his lap crying because I knew he was going to die eventually. My dad just smiled at me comfortingly while hugging me and said he'd be here for me for quite a long time. This song is just amazing.
